Importante logro del equipo DEMMOCAD con la publicación de un artículo en Nature Communication
Los investigadores del proyecto DEMMOCAD han logrado un significativo hito con la reciente publicación del  artículo titulado “Epidemiology, mortality, and health service use of local-level multimorbidity patterns in South Spain” en la prestigiosa revista Nature Communication.
Este artículo pretende caracterizar los patrones de multimorbilidad en un conjunto de datos de 1.375.068 pacientes residentes en el sur de España. Los resultados del estudio ponen de relieve la persistencia de las desigualdades sociales en la multimorbilidad, destacando la necesidad de intervenciones específicas para mitigar el impacto en la calidad de vida de los pacientes, la utilización de la asistencia sanitaria y las tasas de mortalidad.
